Cobalt Octoate with 12% Metal Content
VALIREX Co 12 D60 is a cobalt-based metal carboxylate with 12% Co, dissolved in D60. The product is used as primary drier in paints and coatings. Typically, the cobalt drier is added at 0,05 phr (parts per hundred resin). Further, it is used as a catalyst precursor for the hydrogenation of Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene (SBS) and Styrene-Isoprene-Styrene (SIPS) block co-polymers. Next to that, it is also a generic catalyst for chemical oxidation processes.
